Session at a local park, at your own pace. Weather turns? These sessions convert to telehealth automatically.

How sessions work

Your first appointment focuses on background and goals, so the plan we build fits your actual life. From there, I often assign "homework" — relaxation exercises or coping strategies — to practice between sessions and make progress stick.

Treatment draws on acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and relaxation and stress-reduction techniques, matched to what works for you.

Good Faith Estimate

Your right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to give patients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of expected charges for services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges, in writing, before your appointment or upon request.
  • You can ask your provider, or any provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
  • Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
